Eclipse 2024

Not Atari related at all, but cool nonetheless. I am lucky to live within 5 minutes of totality and was able to hang out with some family friends for the afternoon.

Photos are nothing special just taken with my phone. Pre-totality through my "eclipse glasses lenses" and during totality without anything special.

I was lucky enough to be in the path of totality in 1999. It remains one of the coolest experiences of my life. Even though I understand how it all works, there's still something magical about those few minutes.

Same for me, was really weird going completely dark during the daytime. All the birds which are normally chirping away went totally silent. Very eerie...

Love storms when I was a kid. Everything would just go black and totally silent.. Then be a almighty bang of thunder.. And then the heavens open with rain...

The next total eclipse for the UK isn't until 2090 but there will be a 90% one on the 12th of August 2026 with Cornwall being the best vantage point

Damn, I would be about 112 years old by then. I be shocked if I make it to half that age
