Ideal - The Generals - Electronic Strategy Game

I didn't actually have this one but a friend of mine did and we played it a lot. The box is a bit tatty and the plastic board is very brittle and needed a bit of super glue to fix.

The electronic part of the board game is that when you go to battle each player places their piece on the switches on the side. The combination of plastic lugs pushing the different switches works to make a battle sound before showing who the winner is. It's pretty simple and I think it's a simple binary comparison between each side.

Collector of many retro things!
800XL and 65XE both with Ultimate1MB,VBXL/XE & PokeyMax, SIDE3, SDrive Max, 2x 1010 cassette, 2x 1050 one with Happy mod, 3x 2600 Jr, 7800 and Lynx II
Approx 20 STs, including a 520 STM, 520 STFMs, 3x Mega ST, MSTE & 2x 32 Mhz boosted STEs
Plus the rest, totalling around 50 machines including a QL, 3x BBC Model B, Electron, Spectrums, ZX81 etc...

Yes, unfortunately where I was I ended up looking at the tech I had when I was young and eBay got the bettter of me :)
