Hi!
I'm new here, but going straight all out right away!
This chiptune was created in 1995 for the Orneta'95 demo party contest. It was the last one I created by myself on ATARI 65XE.
I remember that at this party there were so many pieces submitted in the 8-bit msx category,
that everyone was already monstrously bored and tired of these sounds (including me).
And my track was played near the end - and on top of that it's a bit long.... So it was not a success!
Enjoy listening/watching. Really, I worked hard on this video. Greetings!
Hey, wait a minute..! Did I wrote: "So it was not a success!" ?
I just found the results from that party and it looks like I took 5th place!
There were certainly many more works submitted than can be seen in the list.
In that case, however, for me it's a big success!
Hi, I wanted to share with you a story, which is also the genesis of the creation of a song,
which later found its way into the demo "Endless dream" by ZELAX group.
I was exchanging letters with some colleague - also an "ATARIAN".
I mentioned to him that I do music on Chaos Music Composer and I would like to create music
for some game someday. He wrote back to me:
" (...) I was interested in your proposal. I would love to hear some of your compositions.
Personally, I don't program, but my colleague is working on a LOTUS game for the small Atari
(it's a secret for now) and music is needed. If you prove yourself, it could be your music. (...)
I was supposed to create a soundtrack for LOTUS for ATARI !!!!
I got down to work and that's how this track was created, tentatively titled "Lotus".
Unfortunately, this game didn't get made, the contact broke up
Some time later I caught contact with the guys from ZELAX (Polish demoscene group),
I sent them this song of mine to Lotus and I remember them saying that it could be suitable
for some demo. Well, and it found its way into "Endless dream" by ZELAX.
My warmest regards!
Howdy! I invite you to watch and listen to the latest track for 8-bit ATARI,
which I created together with MIKER. It was during the Silly Venture party in 2000.
This track is short, but we took 1st place in msx competition
I'm in the process of looking for a cassette recorder to rip some of my old tunes
created "for the drawer" from cassette.
Have a nice reception, warm regards!
