Hi,
Out of the need of the moment, I checked the possibility of using another chip in place of the original IKBD HD6301. I found a perfectly matching OTP chip - HD63701V0P, which I programmed with the available firmware and checked in the Atari ST standard keyboard. Everything (keys, mouse, clock) works well.
The programmer I used is All-07, which has a complete configuration for this processor built in. In the HD63701 documentation there is a description of how to make an EPROM programmer adapter, which will allow you to program the uP in any programmer.
I am attaching the binary file with the firmware that was used for programming I found with STeem and on Atari.dev.doc.
I found a source of good and relatively cheap processors on Ebay at user: Metaycforth. He has over a hundred more of them. I recommend
