Hello from Maryland, USA

Post by ajacocks »

Hello, folks, I’m Alex, and I have a significant problem with vintage computers.

Seriously, I have a general interest in anything computery, starting with the mid 1970s, until the mid 1990s. I have several Ataris, including a 600xl, 1200xl, an XEGS, a 1040 STfm, and a 520 STe.

Most of my machines have needed (or still need!) repair, and I like to repair as much or more than I like to use my equipment.

I do also have an Amiga 600, and I used to have an A4000D 060 (donated to a museum) and an A3000 030.

Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Retro computing is a disease from which there is no cure and can only be managed :D
