Hi All,
Does anyone have a spare 040, doesn't matter if its an 68040 or a 68LC040, its for fixing an old Mac project I've got, so would appreciate it if it was cheap.PGA Version please.

Look out for one with a K63H mask if possible. They run at 1/2 the temp of normal 040 chips.
The last revision was the L88M but ever since I wrote an article many many years ago about how they were the "best" 040's to buy they have been sought after by Amiga and Mac enthusiasts. They are now counterfeit as much as 060 E41J

It doesn't need to be anything special in this case, just working and able to run at 25mhz.

I'm traveling right now, but I know I have one that I salvaged from a battery destroyed Mac a year or so ago. I'll get a photo posted once I get home tomorrow night. It's all yours for shipping.
