Post here if you have any video suggestions I could do which would be useful. This is limited to the ST range and should be relating to stuff I actually work on.
Currently I want to do a couple of videos on servicing floppy drives. I've got loads I need to test out yet... one day...
Can all registered uses please login, even just for a few minutes..
It helps build a picture where our "good traffic" is coming from..
Thanks :)

Re: Exxos video suggestions
Any as long as you do it sounding like a Dalek .
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

How to desolder resistor networks (for pull up replacement)?
How to bodge on a DMA pull up network?
How to assemble a Falcon NVRAM board (since you're working on them and they're non-intuitive with the snipping of sockets and low-profileness & wotnot)?

Been sounding like that this past week already.

Do you mean fitting not assembly of the board as they pre-assembled already. How to assemble a Falcon NVRAM board (since you're working on them and they're non-intuitive with the snipping of sockets and low-profileness & wotnot)?
Though it does remind me that my plan there is to find some sockets which don't have the middle plastics and avoid the whole problem..

Ah, yeah, that was the bit I was thinking of, I reckon.exxos wrote: Thu Oct 26, 2023 4:25 pm Do you mean fitting not assembly of the board as they pre-assembled already.

+1 on this - I think @Badwolf and I may be hoping to replace our faulty original RTC modules at some point...
Re: Exxos video suggestions
I'm not sure there's much to really demonstrate though. I already did a desoldering example video. Other than soldering in the socket.. and well.. cutting out the middle bar.. which I hope to avoid when I get chance to look for better sockets...JezC wrote: Thu Oct 26, 2023 6:18 pm +1 on this - I think @Badwolf and I may be hoping to replace our faulty original RTC modules at some point...
Re: Exxos video suggestions
Actually I have two new modules already, but I remembered it was non-intuitive.JezC wrote: Thu Oct 26, 2023 6:18 pm +1 on this - I think @Badwolf and I may be hoping to replace our faulty original RTC modules at some point...
