I have a Fun School 2 (6-8yr old) disk that works with tos 1.2 but not tos 1.6 (2 bombs)
The filesystem layout is as follows:
AUTO -> MENU.PRG (2141 bytes)
STOS -> usual stos files including BASIC.BIN, RUN.BIN etc.
BASIC.PRG (2118 bytes)
CONFIG.BAS
PROTECT.BAS
I've tried the patcher but I think it is designed for compiled STOS programs.
Is it obvious which files need switching?
Ok reading the manual, one way would be to create my own runtime disk from scratch using STOSCOPY.ACB and then presumably pop the CONFIG.BAS and MENU.PRG back onto that disk.
Any other ideas?
Matt.

Not sure about that, was the full source code on the disks ? Probably just be easier to compile it with the new V300 compiler.

Yeah looks like the full source is on the disks.
I was on the right track & got it to work with a fresh/up to date STOS folder.
I don't know if compiling will work because disk 1 is just a menu disk that then chain loads the other basic programs on disk 2.
There's 9 programs on disk 2 so compiling each will probably take too much space on a disk.
