I've had a change extreme drill which has just been a royal PITA since new
The problem is the "pushbutton" which holds the shaft so he can get the bits in and out is terrible. The slot in the shaft is nowhere near deep enough and even if it was the plastic surround just simply bends in the case tries to destroy itself anyway.
So is there anything with a proper chuck of some sort ? Either with a key or tightened with spanners or something ?

So after much searching..
That guy took them to bits and the 4000 has a MUCH more sturdy looking shaft lock. So that's my choice so far.
