It's Friday the 13th all right

Post by exxos »

So I got charged import costs from FedEx from ordering from JLC. Despite paying the tax and VAT upfront as I usually do (and I confirm that actually said that my order history). So then I get a bill for £50.01 from FedEx. So now I've actually paid import charges twice :cussing: so I've contacted JLC for them to investigate.

I also ordered some silly little snail lights from early express. This is what turned up.

Now the red snail on the right was complete. The blue snail on the left was basically an empty box! :cussing:

The thing is though, they both was sent in separate packages the same seller with his bizarre. Hermes delivered both the few days apart I think. The bags did not look damaged or repaired in any way so I don't think anything has been taken out of the package at that point.

As people can see, the package is totally crushed ,so I think it has been sent from China as an empty box.

But here is the weird thing, snail which actually arrived at a weight off 175g, and the one which didn't turn up had a weight of 200g! So who the heck where is telling lies during all this ?! So dispute opened on Aliexpress.

I really am fed up of having to deal with all this kind of BS all the time.

This afternoon I had an appointment with a friend of mine at 12:00 at the DIY shop.
He called me to tell me that his daughter suddenly had to go to the hospital :o and that we could go to the shop at 18:00.

Then he called me at 17:30 that his mother had an accident with her car, she was alright, but the car wasn't :o , we said we would meet at 20:00.

At 20:00 he called me that he was with his grandson because the kid fell and had to get stitches... so now we are going to the shop tomorrow morning...

I'm not superstitious, but this is bad luck...
