Post by felicemaggie »

Hi everyone,

I'm Felice from the Maggie Team (we produced the Maggie diskmag for a number of years) and was the companion to @CiH on Sunday at the wonderful Cyber Legends 2 event.

Was great to see you all and the event shows a lot of promise. Many thanks for putting it on & I hope it isn't the last in the Northampton area.

It was also unfortunate that due to a medical issue with a member of Chris's family, we had to leave in a rather impromptu way all of a sudden. Thankfully things were resolved quickly once we got there. We did both feel a bit bad about that though - so are offering our apologies here.

Will probably report a bit more on the event if there's a thread opened elsewhere on the forum but, overall, it was a great geeky event to be at. We have tended to visit the Sillyventure Atari demoparties in recent years (post-pandemic) in Gdansk, Poland - and would love it if some of you would like to join us there. Gdansk is a cheap but wonderful city to visit. Close to Northampton is Luton Airport & flights with WizzAir go from there direct to Gdansk.

Many thanks.

Felice.

Hi Felice, was good to speak to you on Sunday. I think we are in a few pics standing in the middle, good to hear about the demoscene adventures in europe. Shame you had to leave but family comes first. Hope to see you next year as you said you were quite local too.
