I'm testing my 520 ST (Shorty) with an LCD TV with RGB SCART and I'm seeing distortions. Vertical lines.
Any advice?

Re: 520 ST (Shorty) RGB vertical lines
Quite normal. It'll partly be that the LCD resolution doesn't match pixel for pixel the ST's and partly the normal ST jailbars, which aren't as noticeable on a CRT.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Re: 520 ST (Shorty) RGB vertical lines
Absolutely normal, especially for the short ST. I've had 3 or 4 of these units, they're all the same. Upgrade it with Exxos's new DAC.
Re: 520 ST (Shorty) RGB vertical lines
I can also attest, very normal. However, I installed the following ST VIDEO DAC BUFFER PCB from Exxos's store in my 520ST (shorty) and jailbars are gone from CRT's and mostly gone from a good LCD.

Interesting stuff. Thanks for the feedback.
There is no time before Cyberlegends 2 but I think I am going to go for an RGB2HDMI solution now that RPi Zeros are back in stock everywhere (not ideal as it sits outside the case) but it is not too expensive and will offer best picture.
