I've been talking to dad664npc about helping out on PiStorm Atari. But I couldn't find an ST with a socketed DIL 68000 among any of my "for spares" STs.
So I thought I'd have a look on €Bay for a cheap STfm locally, sometimes you get good deals on collection only items. I had planned to spend under £40 but there wasn't anything local except for this :
520ST "Shorty" + Single Sided FDD + Mouse + All manuals/disks + SM124 (all in very good cosmetic condition)
OMG if it doesn't all work flawlessly.
I didn't even know Shorty's existed until Cyberlegends last year!
I'm going to try to get my RPi PicoHD that I bought from @exxos working later.
How did this get here?

I did see that one on eBay actually, thought about mentioning it here on the forum, but then I thought I'd better not, since I may have ruined the 'secret' lol
It does look very good! Glad it was someone here who got it.

You can get some good deals on collection only equipment. I once got a box of ST equipment, enough to build up 7 STFMs and other stuff in a box that big I had to collect it in the work van, all for £49.
Those days are mostly gone now.
Gotta love a short ST, I have four of them at the mo, oops.

@mrbombermillzy it was, the box even came with a working Sega Megadrive in it.
I don’t think I’ll ever get another like it.

I think the closest to that I ever got was 3x STFMs (2 working, one faulty) for £50 as a collection only...which I still think is a pretty good deal!
