As I got distracted with my 2600 console lately, I plan to do some minor repairs and upgrades to it in the near future. Though as this forum was intended for generally 16 bit machines, we did not really have a section for 8 bit machines and consoles. So the new section is open now, and I don't mind any 8-bit machines been posted there or consoles in general. For example the spectrum or C64 repairs or upgrade guides can be included there.

DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Good idea, it all started for me with a SWTPC 6800 machine with 2k of memory!!! I retired it with a 6809 and 64k of static memory. Yup 21H02's for the most part. It was running flex and or OS9 with basic and lots of apps. It was replaced by you guessed it... an Atari 520!!. The first thing I build after retirement was see picture!!! As a matter of fact I have a half complete driver for an 16552 I was working on when I re-kindled my Atari interests.

Its a Corsham SWTPC 6809 reproduction. It has been upgraded to a 6309 processor and 1 meg of memory. The 6309 is Hitachi's CMOS version of the Motorola 6809 microprocessor. It can run at 3 mhz vs 2 mhz for the 09 and has a lot of new instructions and registers. So you can run it in native mode or 09 mode which hides all the extra stuff. Guess Motorola wasn't to happy when they found out Hitachi had enhanced the 09 which they had licensed to Hitachi to produce.. The cpu board has a DAT that allows it address one meg of memory by swapping in 4k chunks to the 64k of directly addressable memory. OS9 LVL2 supports the 1 meg memory map and is a multi-user multitasking Unix like OS. For its day it was superior to most things out there.
