Hi guys, a few days ago I got this screen when starting one of my two Falcons; then crashing without showing the desktop. So I tried swapping the expansion cards (I have two other old ones from that period: one 14Mb and the other 4Mb, one of which I borrowed from the other Falcon). So I used the Falcon that has problems, with these two boards (intermittently, a little on one and a little on the other), remaining quite calm on the fact that for both machines I replaced the PSU capacitors as soon as I had bought them.
I haven't had any problems in about 5 days of fairly intense use since I'm on vacation. Is it possible that that card has burned out its RAM or am I missing something?
That Falcon has been used very little since I put it.

I forgot.. in these 5 days I kept the Falcon open with my oscilloscope which tested the two PSU voltages in real time and they remained stable at 4.98Volt and 11.20Volt.

Re: Exxos 14Mb Ram Expansion Problem for Falcon 030
Spikes on the Falcon RAM bus are unfortunately killing the RAM on these boards :( Sometimes they will cause random errors, be fine one day, not the next, or just fail constantly. Some people never have problems at all. It depends on how bad any particular Falcon is. I started to design a board which has filters but decided not to bother in the end. I wrote a lot about this problem some time ago.

I'm offering a part exchange for those boards currently. So if you buy the simm adapter board I will discount the board you had from the total. These are better since you can simply swap the simm if the problem happens again.
