Does anyone have any experience of the LACESCAN driver?
I saw a post on AF earlier about overscan circuits. 'Saddened' ;) that this wouldn't work on a STe, my googling led me to the lace scan driver as a means of getting an extended virtual desktop on an STE.
I'm trying to get a 640 x 400 x 2 virtual desktop over RGB but whatever I try LACE_EMU complains that my INF file is invalid.
The HYP file makes this sound possible but I could be wrong of course.

Re: LASCAN/LACESCAN
Working now.
After RTFM about 5 times it became obvious :D
If you've not used it before, it's quite cool. I have a 640x400 hi-res virtual desktop with Geneva/Neodesk and still 1.6M to spare.
Screen update speed as you scroll up and down isn't too bad either.
I'll try out the TT resolutions next and 640x400 16 colour - although that will slow it down I'm sure
