I mistakenly renamed a program in Windows on the floppy and I think it created a long file name. Now when I try and copy A: to C:, it picks up I think on the long file name as a invalid file.
This checking Windows does not pick up on it but Is there any other way of easily fixing it without formatting the floppy and copying the original files back ?
Fixing long filenames on floppies ?

I used to copy a lot of files from Windows NT and earlier. I don't remember having problems.
Try renaming the floppy file to remove the ~

Re: Fixing long filenames on floppies ?
Long shot but when I use my SD-card to copy files from Windows10 to my ST's,
it puts those odd files on the SD-card. I can't do anything with them from within
standard TOS but Kobold3 allows me to delete them.
Perhaps Kobold will allow you to rename it?
HTH's.

I do the same, Darklord. Kobold cures all. Would BIGDOS work?
