2001 to-do-list almost done!

Post by exxos »

2001 - To do list - Fix the socket to the wall as one screw would never go in.
2023 - To do list - plaster the broken bits and repaint.

Yes it took over 20 years to diagnose why the screw never would go into the wall socket.

Yeah! The shower needs a tweak because one tile cant be put on the wall as its not level. Though that means taking the hot/cold tap off, which then means going up in the loft to figure out what taps turn off what water pipes... Then the tap will leak when its put back.. it will never end. I'll end up rebuilding the entire bathroom... yeahhhh nahhhh , i'll get it to in another 10 years

Granted, doesn't have the historical element as your project, this being a 2016 job.

Your comment reminded me of a styropyro vid on YT. He seems to have a complete disregard for safety

As someone from the USA, I still find it so odd that the switch is on the power plug and not up on the wall.

How many of your outlets are switched from the wall? I'm guessing not many.

The switch on UK outlets doesn't replace wall switches. It's just an additional feature.
