Is the budgie UK disks about somewhere ? I thought I had them all but can't find them.. Have a box of what looks like compilation disks and wondering if worth bothering to image them or not...
I also have various Merlin, LAPD.. and some others I never heard of, I half recall there was collections attempted somewhere ages ago, but don't remember. Though I wonder if its worth imaging them all and starting a new forum section for all these "lost" PD disks...

Prob best make a image of them because once there gone there gone, there's no guarantee at the min there's another copy out there, if you find some missing disks out there could at least combine them make a collection.exxos wrote: 06 Feb 2018 12:09 Is the budgie UK disks about somewhere ? Yeah, was some good stuff in goodmands pdl, there's a few floppies in the mix here.. really should be a online archive of all these somewhere.. don't think anyone was really bothered about archiving PD other than me  Mostly people think of demos, which are a bit pointless, but also a lot of STOS code and asm code etc was also in the mix.. well worth saving imo.DrF wrote: 06 Feb 2018 12:38 Prob best make a image of them because once there gone there gone, there's no guarantee at the min there's another copy out there, if you find some missing disks out there could at least combine them make a collection.

I remember Budgie UK, but haven't seen any stuff anywhere. Zogging Hell has some PD catalogues: http://www.zhell.co.uk/pdlibrary.html, and obviously yourself with Floppyshop!

That's not a bad idea, not sure if I have any catalogues at home, I'll take a look. Not many, and I can't say what they are, possibly LAPD or FloppyShop, I have a vague memory, almost certain it won't be Budgie UK!

I will setup a new email address for "incoming" files and also setup a page for people to download them from, hopefully tomorrow.

Re: PD disks merlin, lapd, budgie etc
I've setup a new email address for people to send in PD disks to, incoming (at) (some random antispam junk) exxoshost.co.uk. Please put in the subject line which PDL they are from, listing in the email the disks being sent with whats on the disk would be very helpful also. Also if you want to be credited then sign your email with what you want to be credited with (name, alias etc) . Once I get some contributions I will setup a download page for people to download the files and also check if I already have the files in the list or not before emailing!
