SOLD: DFB1 64MB falcon accelerators

Post by foft »

I built a DFB1 for myself and since I got a few pcbs in the batch I built 3 of them. I've just bought another CT60 so in fact won't be using any of them.

Anyway I have the following 3 available in case someone wants them, if not they go in the storage drawer :-)

If you have followed the forum, you will know I didn't manage to get any running at 50MHz with the FPU installed.

They all have 64MB ram and 1MB flash (AM29F800BB). I didn't populate the LEDs. I have some little heatsinks for the CPU, but didn't stick them on for the photos.

The three boards are as follows:
Board 1:
40MHz oscillator
CPU and FPU, both running at 40MHz (custom firmware)

Board 2:
40MHz oscillator
CPU and FPU, fpu is at 20MHz (standard firmware)

Board 3:
50MHz oscillator
CPU only (standard firmware)

I ran them through my new toy (ultrasonic) so they are pretty clean, though I put the 50MHz xtal on board 3 after so there is a little flux there! I have some 40,48 and 50MHz oscillators sitting around so can fit them if you prefer to what is installed.

Only looking to get the costs back really. I guess 100CHF each + 20CHF shipping.

Shipping from Switzerland (not in EU), or France (11th Feb only)

I'll post some pictures in a sec.

Show off!

They look very smart, though.

Many thanks for the time & effort you put into making and testing which will hopefully be fed back in time. :-)

I actually still have one blank PCB left and pretty much all of the parts I need lying around, with the exception of some sockets :D. So I might pop those parts on to do a bit more experimentation.I ordered (yet another) JTAG device to try out the python boundary scan module and this will be a fun way to give that a go.

Many thanks for designing it and sharing your work + all the help!
