Ever had a faultless BT audio sender/receiver?
No?
Well, neither had I. There's always something wrong; pairing, range (even short and within manufacturers spec), noise, lag, dropout... take your pick.
However, I've had this unit about nine months now and I must admit, it has been absolutely flawless as a receiver attached to a 1970-80s HIFI system.
You can go with the option of slight lag for a higher fidelity (this is the aptX LL) or slightly lower quality for perfect sync, for use in Tv audio.
Unfortunately, I don't count myself as a true audiophile (having Tinnitus is probably not a good start in that respect), but after setting up my altered HIFI system (and curing the out of phase, non colour coded pre-wired speaker cables) the sound is pretty indistinguishable from my Vinyl, if not my CD player (a Technics SL-P220) which actually sounds very impressive through my Technics amp and Phillips made drivers (branded Ekco speakers, who they later took over).
I have yet to pit the output directly against the CD player, but that's maybe a review for another time.
Anyway, here is a link for the unit on the manufacturers web site: https://www.1mii.com/product-item/b03pr ... h-adapter/
Why am I writing this review? I mean, I'm not really known for writing reviews here, but when something has done an unexpectedly faultless job and has some other great features at a very reasonable cost, then I think it deserves a little pat on the back.
I wholeheartedly recommend this great little device. mBmZy score: 9/10 *
* Would have got a 10/10, but sometimes, if you are running an audio playlist and if there's not enough of a 'stop/start' gap between tracks, it misses the playback enable and the track plays silently, until the next track is auto started in the playlist, essentially 'bump starting' the audio again. Not sure if this a problem with the player SW (tested Media Player Classic along with MPC-BE x64 on W10) or the actual BT chip being a bit slow with the play/stop commands. Easily solved with stopping and pressing play again in good time, but still marring an otherwise perfect product. If I find a solution to this hiccup, I will update here.

DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!
