Hello.
A few weeks ago I got my new TF1230 with 128MB memory. Together with the accelerator I bought a modified KickROM 3.2.1 with ehide.device included.
If try to boot a preinstalled SDcard with the IDEport of the TF it works.
If I try to start a SYSINFO4.4-speedtest the program crashes. HDToolbox cannot find any device if I would try to change the partition(s).
It does not make a difference if I try to load the hide.device driver via LoadModule. In ShowConfig I can see the memory (is working fine), there is no "card" shown, under "Devices" the ehide.device driver is loaded and at "Volumes" I can see the ehide.device with its volumes.
Why can't HDToolbox "see" the ehide.device? Why the speedtest crashes? Any idea? Thank you in advance.

Re: Problems with ehide.device
HDtools, I take it you changed the DEVICE in the ICON information?, if you look there it will be `SCSI_DEVICE_NAME=scsi.device by default, so change it to SCSI_DEVICE_NAME=ehide.device, HDTools will work then and see your partitions, and I think sysinfo can be problimatic sometimes on some systems so someone else can answer that

Re: Problems with ehide.device
You can also run HDToolBox from CLI, like
Code: Select all
Tools/HDToolBox ehide.device-

Re: Problems with ehide.device
Sysinfo speed test will crash if the block size of the partition is greater than 1024.

Hey.
You guys are awesome! All problems are solved and the transfer is now above 2 mb/s (before 1,2 mb/s). HDToolbox works without problems and I changed the blocksize to 1024 which means, SysInfo‘s speedtest works fine now. Thank you all!
