Hi all
Am new on this board, thanks for allowing me to join
I moved from an Amstrad CPC to an STFM in 1989-1993 then a STE from 1993 which I had subsequently upgraded to 4mb and had an internal 235mb hard drive fitted to and also got a citizien DMP colour printer....I eventually sold the STFM and Citizen printer sadly I dont know what happened to my STE after the millenium (dont recall selling it but cannot locate it)
Have since then bought a STE in 2017 which is still in storage and more recently a Mega STE in 2021 which is also in storage...I hope to have my home office ready in the next few months and then these machines should come out of storage to allow me to relive my miss-spent Atari youth on real hardware instead of emulators.
Back in the day I enjoyed gaming on my machine and messing around with the DTP software and other utility software was never a programmer or musician or a hardware hacker. Some of my favourite games on the Atari ST machines would be: Volfied, Microprose Golf, Civilisation, Dynablaster, Gauntlet II, Supersprint, Populous 2, Nebulous, IK+

Re: Hello from UK
Mega STE is a very nice machine these days. Quick for the era, but still a 68000 in there for games + none of that nasty 90s wedge case business.
Greetings.

Re: Hello from UK
Many thanks for the kind welcome messages, as mentioned I am not really that much of a tinkerer when it comes to hardware so not sure if I will be able to contribute much to the forum beyond reading in awe what everyone else is getting up to with their machines.
