Not really...ANY circuit that will allow the display of the recently discovered new ST resolutions: https://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=34108
I'm in the middle of coding some enhanced palette picture display routines and would like to test if they are effective with these modes too.
Didn't know there were any alternatives other than the Centurion one (which is also unavailable). I presume the Ubeswitch which was in the Exxosstore ran out of stock and is now discontinued?

D'oh!
Just found you DO still have one of these things (another version I was unaware of) in the store!
Never mind then. Having a bad day! :sigh:

Re: WTB: Ubeswitch VGA
I did request a new batch a few years back but I don't think urban is making them any more. I was buying them directly from him rather than making them myself as I wanted to support him with new projects rather than just "pocketing" all the money myself.mrbombermillzy wrote: 28 Nov 2022 11:19 I presume the Ubeswitch which was in the Exxosstore ran out of stock and is now discontinued?
I think the only real difference was the UBE was auto switching but some people had problems with that feature. I think someone else edited the firmware and might have fixed the problem but I just class the project has abandoned now anyway.
Yes. I sell the ST2VGA adapters which support all three resolutions ( Providing your monitor supports them that is)mrbombermillzy wrote: 28 Nov 2022 11:30 Just found you DO still have one of these things in the store!

This one does not interfere with the MEGA ST ports either. Hence been slightly larger than other variants.

Re: WTB: Ubeswitch VGA
I was selling a slightly modified UBESwitch for a while. I may have sold about 50 of them. I have parts to build another 100.
Just so you are aware, the UBESwitch is a licensed project. I was allowed to sell these boards under an arrangement with the board designer.
The problem with the resolution change being done via software control was never fixed. I disabled that feature in the firmware to prevent random resolution changes.
If there is an interest in having a semi-intelligent ST to VGA adapter I can build some boards. One advantage of the UBESwitch over some of the other designs is that there are POTS to control the RGB levels. That allows for some control over color balance and peak levels. There is also a audio volume POT which is handy.

Re: WTB: Ubeswitch VGA
It's possible they could be sold via my store. I was buying them from Urban and selling them via my store for a long time. Though neither of us were making much on them though.
Certainly no problem if you want to sell them directly to people by the forum either.
