Hello all

Post by dad664npc »

Hi to all I hope this message finds everyone in good health.

I recently purchased an ATARI STFM with 512K and VERY quickly found that more memory was required. So, lots of googling later, I found this forum and the products it sells. I ordered the 4MB upgrade. It arrived promptly, thank you for that :). I may post my experience on the installation.

To be honest, I don't know why I purchased the ATARI! I owned one back in the day, but don't recall my experience with it, unlike the Spectrum and Amstrad CPC's I owned. So I have this toy to play with - what to do? I'm a software engineer by trade, and I have a good knowledge of digital electronics, so I built myself a hard disk interface emulator. It works on a Raspberry PI PICO... just! I still have more to develop on it though. Of course I did see the Ultrasatan's etc. out there, but where's the fun in that :)

I live in the south of England with my wife, have two children which have left the nest :) and have been replaced with two cats :)

Regards to all

Greetings!

Interested in your Pico HD emulator, I don't think I've seen a Pico-based one yet.
