exxos random audio stuff blog

Post by exxos »

Well I am starting a blog with or without a new forum yet.

This is one of those "expensive" amps which I worked on. I remember it got millions of good reviews (swear all fake) but the design of the thing OMG. The whole thing was how NOT to design a digital power amplifier.

Anyway, here is some audio p0rn from my "psaudiohca2" folder.

This was one of my test power amps. Was using a Tripath TDA2500 module. 800+800watts RMS. I designed my own soft start power power supply as well. The turn on surge would blow a 13amp fuse otherwise

This was one of the insides of one of the Tripath chips.

Inspired by the TDA2500 chip I designed my own chip. Looks like I even was beta testing it as well. Don't remember doing that.

These are the HTM50 modules which are on sale in my store. One of the power amps I designed and was selling under the HTM brand name. The HTM50 modules were uses in theatres around london.
