TF360 Rev3 Now Available!
Hi all,
So after a few months of testing I am going to let the TF360 out!
The people selling these are (at present) @supaduper (I have to order him some boards but he may take pre-orders), @alenppc, @chucky and I will send 10 to @go0se.
Eventually the TF360 Gerbers will be released but I have a target number in my head of sales (much lower than the TF1260) to help us all recoup our money on the TF360 which has been much more expensive to develop than the Tf1260 as we needed more revisions.
I have a few different experimental versions of the fw and i will keep tweaking it but I would assume right now that only 50Mhz works. Overclocking seems to be very hit and miss. Works fine for me. Not at all for AlenPPC.
The Rev3 fixed a bug which did not reset the keyboard correctly on the Kipper2k style riser.
The NOTPORT does seem to work with the devices i've tested it with. Solas and a real clock device.
Note that some CD32 games do not like the 060 so if you boot from CD they crash unfortunately. Guardian works fine though.

Thanks for all your hard work.
Can you still buy the risers? I'll inquire with one of the listed sellers.

The kipper risers are available yes. The TF risers need me to work with @arkadiusz.makarenko a bit more to make it work on all CD32salexh wrote: Fri Oct 21, 2022 1:13 pm Thanks for all your hard work.

Great work, another home for a 060 sitting in the cupboard, thanks

Was that a riser with integrated USB keyboard/mouse adapter? Nice evolution from the Kipper2k.terriblefire wrote: Fri Oct 21, 2022 1:20 pm The TF risers need me to work with @arkadiusz.makarenko a bit more to make it work on all CD32s
If work was restarting on a CD32 riser the development of BlueRetro (an open-source Bluetooth keyboard/mouse/Joypad) implementation looks interesting. Probably not practical but interesting.

I have no words for expressing my appreciation to you, for sticking with the project(s) through all the difficult times you had to go through for no good reason and almost made you quit.
If it wasn't for you I would still be waiting for project Hermes, remember https://ianstedman.wordpress.com/2014/0 ... omment-318 ?
(funny as that first answer there to your post is literally mine, lol)
As I stated elsewhere I managed to purchase a TF328 and then a TF330 and now with a little bit of luck I may get myself a TF360 .... what a great set of affordable and quality accelerators that is .... you have my utmost admiration and gratitude.
Thank you a million times and then some more.

Re: TF360 Rev3 Now Available!
@arkadiusz.makarenko had made significant progress rewriting the HID for the STM32. It worked really well. There was just some glitches with certain CD32 mobos but the HID layer was fine. In fact its in the TFMSX also. The main issue with it right now is the availability of the STM32.alexh wrote: Sat Oct 22, 2022 2:09 pmWas that a riser with integrated USB keyboard/mouse adapter? The issues seem to be my problem (i.e. amiga bus level) not HID.

Re: TF360 Rev3 Now Available!
The TF360 built by me has now been listed on Amibay: https://www.amibay.com/threads/tf360-68 ... d.2439047/
People from the UK will soon get their local listing from Supaduper, so kindly refrain from declaring interest on this one. Thanks!

Looks amazing. Out of curiosity is the standard CD32 PSU suitable or do you need to upgrade to something beefier?
I only ask because they accidentally melted one on RCM when using it to power a GVP HD8+
