What happened to C-LAB anyway ?
Was just wondering how long they actually went for after Atari's demise and what ever happened to them in general ? Don't remember seeing anything about it anyway. But not really looked either.

Re: What happened to C-LAB anyway ?
Oooh that's an interesting one! When researching and going through the motions for writing a little about them and Emagic on my site, in the context of Notator / Logic mostly, the trail runs dry after the release of the Falcon MKX in '96.
Prior to this, as known, Gerhard Lengeling, Sven Junge and Chris Adam parted ways, founding Electronic Magic, or Emagic in '92, and as Cyprian says got acquired and incorporated into Apple 10 years later. Both C-Lab and Emagic co-existed for a while, but what explicitly happened to C-Lab though appears a little bit of a mystery, it doesn't seem to be widely documented, at least not in English publications.
EDIT: Well what to do you know, I had an epiphany, well kind of, OK I didn't...but I decided to have a look in Atari Computing, given they were an Atari magazine at the time of the Falcon MKX. Found that C-Lab had renamed themselves C-Lab Digital Media, which then allowed me to find the company was liquidated in 2006.
Thanks for the inspiration, may be able to find out a bit more, time to update my site :)

Deletion from the commercial register on July 31, 2014.
According to § 394 paragraph 1 FamFG, the company is officially deleted due to lack of funds.

Re: What happened to C-LAB anyway ?
Thanks @kohli79, much appreciated!
That's the website I managed to find once I was aware C-Lab Software became C-Lab Digital Media, liquidating in 2006, and as you say having been deleted on 31 July 2014.
Managed to find out this too:
-When C-Lab Software changed their name to C-Lab Digital Media once Gerhard Lengeling etc...left, they co-existed alongside C-Lab Hard- und Software GmbH and C-Lab Media Products GmbH for a while.
-C-Lab Hard- und Software GmbH ran from 7 October 1997 to 29 December 2014, totally ceasing around the same time as C-Lab Digital Media GmbH.
-Something I did know about, is that they also released the C-Lab TimeMachine, a universal sync device, but I didn't know that was under C-Lab Digital Media GmbH / C-Lab Hard- und Software GmbH.
-Lastly, I totally slept on that C-Lab Media Products GmbH ran from 8 July 2003 to pretty recently, 16 June 2021, providing digital storage solutions in the music and film fields.
