I stumbled across this video talking about upgrades mostly and we got a mention. No clue who those guys are. But channels may be of interest to people.

Another interesting bit for me is building db19 cables using idc mounts of db25 ports instead of a db25 plug that require sawing.

Re: Atari video with exxosforum mentions
I didn't like the way he levered out those ROMs! :-)
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

At least he took some care. Some people manage to lever out the socket and destroy the tracks :roll:

Mr Lurch's Things and Ctrl-Alt-Rees are both great; I subscribe to both. Mr Lurch is more general retro learning/exploration; Rees tends to focus on 16-bit and later Atari.

Yeah I've always thought it was odd how Rees isn't present at all on any Atari forums. He's not very interested in hardware modding his Ataris anything past what he had as a kid, as long as the disk drive works and games load he is happy :)

Re: Atari video with exxosforum mentions
Some people just want to play games. As long as the machine works for that why do anything more?
He's on the RMC Discord thingy, which is where I interact with him the most. RMC is very much more game focused than tinkering focused.
