For Sale: two fully built DFB1's with 128mb RAM
Hi all,
DFB1 is a Falcon accelerator which allows you to install up to a 50mhz 030 & 40mhz FPU with user selectable clock speeds via oscillators.
I've built up two of these now, mainly for fun. I planned on keeping one and selling the other, but I just don't have time at the moment. Please be aware that the DFB1 is still a young project and there will be firmware updates on the way, so I highly recommend the buyer be someone who can update his/her own firmwares (Either with a Xilinx cable or with a Raspberry Pi) They are both currently flashed with the latest dfb1r5_2200507.jed of 22nd May 2022.
Link to firmwares on Github: https://github.com/dh219/DFB/tree/main/DFB1/JEDEC
So just to clarify:
* While not a requirement, the ability to flash the firmware yourself for updates is highly desirable. It isn't hard to program a Pi to have this ability: https://linuxjedi.co.uk/2021/11/25/revi ... pberry-pi/
* This does not come with support of any kind, like I said it is an early project. You can contribute and help @Badwolf by providing diagnostics and tests on a variety of different Falcons.
* No FPU or CPU included, you'll need your own.
* I have tested these at 50Mhz, they come with a 50Mhz oscillator installed. If you prefer a 40Mhz or 33Mhz let me know and I can do that.
First come first serve basis when it comes to green or purple PCB. Thank you @sety for the purple PCB and thank you @Badwolf for everything else, good luck with all your projects and I hope these two boards find happy homes.

Just for (semi-clueless) people like me, could you post what the
target machines are for these boards?
ST? STe? Both?
Thanks!

I am very interested. I can flash my own Firmware and have a few 030's lying around. I am in California but headed to the UK in a two weeks.

Was the purple one specifically requested? I'm curious to know which colour is more popular.Steve wrote: Mon May 30, 2022 8:40 pm Ok purple board currently reserved for Surfbud pending payment.
