DoG's DSTB1 Build

Post by DoG »

Got some boards from JLCPCB. Soldered in the CPLD, oscillator and the two bus buffer chips. I got some 256Mb and 512Mb memory in TSOP package, but I think I will order some smaller 64Mb instead and keep those for other projects (DFB...).

I still haven't ordered any memory chips. But there is some in DigiKey's basket...

Memory is soldered in. Programming done with 220531 jedec. Just the pins and headers left to do.

Is https://github.com/dh219/DSTB-tools available compiled as a binary somewhere?

I just ran EmuTOS without any ALTxxx.prg. Ran some YAARTTT for a while as well to test ALT-RAM. Here's some gembench numbers (ran from ALT-RAM):
