Hi there just a quick question as I can't seem to find the answer does the internal floppy drive need the 12v? I can see on goteks that it doesn't seem to be connected to anything and I'm sure I read somewhere that some floppies might not use it only 5v and gnd.

Some of the very early "brick" drives needed 12V. But these days none of them use it.
