Hi,
I just purchased an Amiga 1200 including a TF1260 with LC060 CPU.
It also has a CF card with an already installed 3.1 system, so I can just dig around a bit and "learn" things, usage etc.
There's a program which activates/deactivates Fast-RAM when needed, ok.
I haven't found infos so far, on what exactly the jumper "Enable060" is for?
Is it what I think it is, to switch between TF 060 and Amiga 020 CPUs and still be able to use Fast-RAM in 020 mode?
I'm new (again, got an A500 from '89 to '93) in the Amiga world and have to figure out things step by step. ;)
A "midrange" goal will be to build up a new 3.1 (maybe later a 3.2) system from scratch on a CF or SD card with WinUAE.
Is there anything I should be aware of while installing, concerning the TF1260, to make this CF card work on my 1200 with TF?
I already found the "TF1260 Info and Installation Tips" from alenppc, which already has some useful informations!

Re: TF1260 Enable060 jumper function?
If you remove the jumper then the TF1260 is 'disabled', I.E it is not seen by the A1200 and reverts back to a Standard A1200

Re: TF1260 Enable060 jumper function?
Ah, ok. So the complete TF1260 incl. Fast-RAM is disabled then?
Would have been nice to compare WHDLoad games (which needs additional Fast-RAM afaik) with 020 and 060. :)
