I've had this ST for a long time because I'd always wanted that XE-like ST in my collection but the truth is that I didn't even bother to clean it up when I finally bought it (it was in a pretty sorry shape). Until today! Cleaned, tested, photographed.
The PCB says "3485" assuming Week 34 of 1985, i.e. 08/1985. It is (AFAIK) one of the rarer UK models. My guess is that they just reused a left-over case for a PCB which would normally be a 512 ST.
