Weird networking issue

I've got a Prism2 type wireless card in my Amiga 1200 that seems to slow down and stop working after transferring 4Mb or so of data.

Setup is a ReAmiga 1200 + TF1260. I'm using Roadshow, prism2v2. I've updated the firmware in my pcmcia wireless card to station firmware 1.8.2. I'm using WPA.

Basically what happens is i can do everything really fast and well initially then after a few lhas are downloaded or about 2-3 mins of pings the ping response time rises to 30 seconds. (30,000ms).. then nothing more is transferred. Its almost like its decrypting everything ever transferred with it every time anything is received. A reboot and everything is fine.
