520stfm mb c103253rev.1 RAM upgrade options

I have recently acquired a 520STFM, it has a C103253 Rev.1 motherboard, fitted with TMM41256AT-12 PLCC18 RAM chips What are my upgrade options?

512kb -> 1 Mb source of plcc18 ram CHIPS,
512KB -> 1 Mb add on board

512kb -> 4 mb upgrades

I have in the past attempted to upgrade one of these by adding the ram and it didn't end well.
