Hidden buy button on out of stock items ?

Back when I was rushing to program the web store originally, and I deliberately hid the buy button to stop people buying items which were out of stock . Though this was actually fixed later on but I never thought to allow the buy button back though items were out of stock..

EG:

In the event items are discontinued and in the basket, I think the store should automatically remove them from the basket anyway. Though these are features which I do not think of really had much testing yet.

So would people prefer having the buy button always visible, so at least they could add the items into their basket to keep an eye on things easier ?

I have patched store to allow out of stock items into the basket.

It will show up like this..

Oddly there sometimes seems to be a delay in the border going red :shrug:
