Hi,
I have received my brand new PSU and it looks great.
I'm going to have a go at fitting it later on, however, looking at the PSU fitting instructions here https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/atari/last/ ... htm#PSUFIT.
I take it there is no longer a requirement to drill a hole in the metal PSU base and use the arctic silver paste as the actual component isn't there any more on the new PSU?
I got a new switch as well with it so will be removing that and fitting the new switch too. Are all the other PSU fitting instructions on that page still valid?
Cheers for everything and the PSU looks like a wonderful design.
Regards,
Brett

Thanks for the reply. When testing it is there a requirement to use the load resistors anymore as with the old PSU?

The load resistors are there to stop the fuse blowing. All the info is on the page I posted near the bottom.
