Shapeshifter not work with IDE TF1260

Post by hardgb »

I have a problem but first I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong place...
I'm using TF1260's IDE port and it has a great transfer rate but I noticed that after using this IDE I couldn't use Shapeshifter anymore. The screen freezes right after the shapeshifter tries to load MacOS. But when I use the A1200 IDE again the emulator works again.
Does anyone know how I can solve this problem? :(

@hardgb are you overclocking? Does it still freeze at 50Mhz?

There is a known issue with the TF1260 IDE when overclocking.

Emulator may not be compatible with ehide.device driver?

I'm suspecting the shapeshifter is not compatible with the ehide.device drive?
Because even with the overclock the shapeshifter worked on the A1200's IDE, it was just using the Shapeshifter's IDE that it didn't work.

I mean at a hardware level the interfaces are pretty much identical. maybe @erique would have some thoughts?

So it must be some configuration of the Shapeshifter itself...
I will analyze a little more

Wow!!!
Got it, here it worked.
I just went into the settings and changed SCSI.DEVICE to EHIDE.DEVICE and it worked.
Perfect! Thank you all for your help.

It's been a long time, I must have the links saved in my email. Can I paste the links right here?
