WTB: internal STE/Falcon PAL-I/UK TV Modulator

Would like to buy a PAL-I TV modulator to fit in an STE - apparently the Falcon version may work, too (part number is C100185). I know the RGB out is superior, but trying to restore this to stock condition...

Why is it missing in the first place ? Some STs were never shipped with a modularor., so if it's missing on your board then it could well be "stock" anyway unless it's been removed on purpose.

But it may involve a lot more parts than simply fitting the modulator box. I've not looked at the STE schematics, but on the STF machines it required rather extensive modifications which just wasn't really worth the effort.

Thanks! The machine was an eBay purchase, and I removed it as it appears the socket had been yanked on - resulting in both a broken coax connector and broken traces on the modulator PCB. I guess I could leave it out and fit a TOS switch in the remaining hole, but then I presume I'd need to fit the missing components per the schematic the modulator is missing...

I'm in the UK and have a scrap STE *somewhere* if nobody else comes forwards meanwhile .. I will try and find it.
