Price Gougers.

Post by terriblefire »

So a lad bought a TF1260 (with LC060) and decided to list it on ebay within 30 minutes of getting it.

ebay.co.uk/itm/353672069695

He's trying to sell an LC060 for £750+. Serial number 2112.

The buyer/sellers name is Ronny Wiedemann. I encourage the builders of my cards to never ever sell to this person again. I encourage other Amiga sellers to think before selling other items to him. This is pure greed.

This guy is a moron, pure and simple. And anyone that buys that at the price he's asking is equally stupid.

Unfortunately there are such people out there. I know people sell my stuff with a £50 profit on top on evilbay and people pay it when they could just buy from my store at a fraction of the price.

Not against people reselling my stuff, but not when they are making 50x more profit on it than I am and with zero work involved.

Marking the price up by over 100% is not even close to subtle.

At least yours is a definite sale with the money in the bank. The gouger might end up holding the baby.

Small comfort, I suppose.

That Ronny guy has some more items for sale that are a little overpriced...

You could go say "hi" or ring him up, though, as all of his contact info is available online...

Easy solution @terriblefire ...

Just bite the bullet, buy it off ebay; report as counterfeit to ebay and send him back an empty pack of fags. That'll learn him.

Its a crueller world at ebay for the sellers, I tell you!
