STL for the inexpensive ST2VGA?

Post by Calab »

Hey all!

Just wondering if there is an STL that fits the version 5 of the ST2VGA that I just received today.

I was able to finally get a 3D print done... Just couldn't get it to go on my filament printer so I printed with my resin printer.

Found a couple of small issues... Don't know if it's just how I printed it or what, but I thought you might want to know.

The opening for the jumper on top isn't wide enough. The pins interfere with closing the cover... pressing on the back side of the cover.

Also couldn't get my audio plug to fit with the cover in place.

Take care!

I'm confused why you have 6 pins there, when there is only supposed to be 3 ?

I think the upper "pins" are merely reflections off the upright parts of the right-angled header.

Right angled headers can have different heights off the PCB. I'm guessing that the 3D printed case was designed for one of the "low rise" right-angled headers and he's fitted the more usual height DuPont one.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Read the thread where you find the stl files. The pins got solder on the other side on the board by misstake.
