Black screen. WIthout the TF536 it does boot. I tried stripping out the A604n module but no change in behavior.
Has anyone seen a boot with the 2021 3.2 ROM in an A600? I'd be keen to try the xilinx firmware you are using.

Have you tried with all hard disks removed? Also try with caches disabled (CDIS) and tell me what you get.Aeberbach wrote: 29 Jun 2021 10:40 Black screen. WIthout the TF536 it does boot. I tried stripping out the A604n module but no change in behavior.

Re: A600/TF536 with AmigaOS 3.2 no boot
No hard drives (or floppy drives). With no TF536 I get the early boot menu with buttons down, or the kickstart animation if I wait.
With TF536 I still get black screen. No access to two-button gray early boot screen. There's some kind of video signal out because the monitor light is on but no image
I took some 30 gauge kynar wire, put it in the CDIS hole of the CPU socket and tied that to the GND pin on the JTAG header. No change - rainbow when powering on, nothing else.

Swap back from 3.2 to anything else official - see if it boots then!

It boots OK with 2.05 (37.300).

The 536 won't boot on the A600 with 3.1.4 so I presume it's the same with 3.2. And even with the 3.1 it doesn't exactly work great.

With the TF536 in the A600 i expect its looking for the correct gayle ID. People have reported similar issues with the Furia over on EAB.
EDIT: If i wanted to go down the nightmare route of supporting the A600 I would have made a dedicated card for it. Hence A600 is simply not supported by me because i have enough things to do already.

Totally fair - I’m only persisting because of the nice keyboard on it. My A1200 keyboard MPU can’t be far away then I can get the ReAmiga up and going.

I haven't had any issues with the TF536 on the 600 using 3.1, so I would stick with that if I were you
