I've managed to break my 2nd CD32 to PS2 adapter and the guy that used to sell them isnt on eBay anymore.. i was trying to dismantle the DB9 connector to get in there and resolder but it was potted and now its totally broken.. .
Anyone have any ideas what the soldering should be?

LOL! I have one somewhere - I found with mine they act wierd with some games. Banshee in particular I have issues with (I think in respect to the fire button). I mentioned to the guy that creates them and he said he would look into it, but I never heard back.

Yeah =D The point I am making - these are a bit crap and need perfecting! It cannot be that hard to feed the shift register! Might have a go at some point.

I had a go at this project to make a Sega 6 button pad to CD32:

I found the device a pig to program though.
