Wow, that was quick and here was me playing with my hx-10 earlier when you were having fun building your TFMSX.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

That's the leanest looking MSX I've ever seen! :P
You might have mentioned this before, but does it support the V9958 as well as V9938?

Re: TFMSX Arrives
I know some MSX2's can be upgraded to MSX2+. Some MSX2s actually have the 9958 chip, but the new screen modes are not accessible from Basic. As far as I know the 9958 is backwards compatible so it should work.terriblefire wrote: 08 Apr 2021 09:53 I have no idea... "Literally no idea what i'm doing" is on there for a reason.
It has some additional screen modes and both horizontal and vertical scroll registers, and some other minor upgrades. Some classic games actually take advantage of the new features and some games have actually been patched by community effort as well.
Will be happy to try it out when the time comes :)

Re: TFMSX Arrives
Heh. I'd buy one. Almost certainly cheaper than a "real" MSX in this part of the world.
