Finally I have started !

I have run out of a 40-pin DIP IC socket, and golpins on jumpers. FOR this I also need goldpins for the keyboard and a power socket. ?

Does anyone have information on good 6PIN sockets

You don't need gold pins.. unless you like the bling..

I don't think anyone bothered to socket it.. I really wouldn't bother.. Even things like the ACIS's, if they are known working and you dont place to swap them at any point, then just solder them in..

Don’t know if your OWC is soldered in but I wouldn’t use a socket for it. Every time I took the power supply out it would dislodge the OSC. I finally removed the socket and soldered in the OSC.
