TF530 R3 Build memory self inflicted!

Hello all, happy new year all!

I have built my first TF530 r3 over xmas & I really cheaped out on the ram so I only have myself to blame here, but just wondering if this because they are fake the ram or I have another problem, if it is the ram which ic out of the 4 or just replace them all from RS, Digikey etc, & I will try to learn from my silly mistake!

I apologise as this is more than likely self inflicted, & this has more than likely been covered before many times so please forgive me.

I believe they are fake and I have just checked the ram ic's that I have ordered AS7C4096A-12TI not TIN I have looked on the forum and have come across this, & so the answer, well it's a lesson learned!

Hello,

i will not make the mistake of cheaping out again on ebay to good to be true because it is, what a fool I am!

From now on only RS, Digikey, Mouser etc, as these are 100% fake two different product id's on the same ic for two different memory ic's.
