I have a Rigol DS1052E (with firmware "update" for 100Mhz IIRC ) https://www.rigol-uk.co.uk/product/rigo ... illoscope/
But really looking for options for a low cost 4 channel scope, with as good or better specs as the Rigol.
4 channel scope recommendations ?

Yeah, I have this exact model. It's pretty awesome. I think it's a steal for its price. The fan is quite noisy though but that shouldn't be too hard to replace with something decent.exxos wrote: 15 Dec 2020 11:59 So the word on the street is the 1054 https://www.rigol-uk.co.uk/product/rigo ... illoscope/

Nothing beats my HP1660CS scope/analyser in one. Got mine for under £200. 2 analog channels and 136 digital at 500Mhz.

So all Exxos needs to do is get two of them :lol:terriblefire wrote: 15 Dec 2020 12:05 Nothing beats my HP1660CS scope/analyser in one. Got mine for under £200. 2 analog channels and 136 digital at 500Mhz.
But those digital channels, wow. That's the one thing I'm missing dearly on my DS1054Z.

It does cross module arming... so you can trigger the scope when the address bus hits a specific address for example. And you can display digital and analog side by side.sandord wrote: 15 Dec 2020 12:13 So all Exxos needs to do is get two of them

Yes, the Rigol 1054 looks really good for the price. I nearly bought it but finally chose the Siglent SDS 1104X-E in the same price range. I wanted the option to add Logic Analyzer. Updated the firmware, and I'm very happy with it.

Yeah the fan in the 1052 is wayyyy loud, I put a 5.6V zener on it yesterday to drop the voltage... Was still to loud so just unplugged it.. just cant run it for long as the scope sockets start burning
@terriblefire Yeah but I need something which will not crush the floppy drive and PSU
