Re: Andres' H5 B1 Build
I'm ready to test...
... except that I don't have jumper pins. Damn, exxos predicted it. :lol:
They arrive tomorrow, so it won't be long.

@DoG, @Icky, @exxos:
Regarding the RTC circuit, what is Q1? I was searching for it in the forum, but "rtc q1" didn't bring any results.
Thanks!

It's a DS1315 Phantom Time Chip from Maxim. You don't need it really. But could be nice to have. It's like having a Forget Me Clock II cartridge on the board.AndresPlazaR wrote: 05 Dec 2020 21:19 @DoG, @Icky, @exxos:

EDIT1: Or is it the crystal you are wondering about? It's a 32.768kHz.
EDIT2: If you don't have a DS1315 you need to jumper pin 10 and 11. It should be marked with a square on the board.

Yes. But that part is for SMD pads and the boards has holes for THT part. But it seems that is should fit anyway.AndresPlazaR wrote: 06 Dec 2020 02:02 @DoG, the crystal like: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/EC ... PMfw%3D%3D ?
I did check Mouser, Farnell and DigiKey for that size and thru hole part but couldn't find any in stock on any of them. Only one seller on eBay. Strange.
So the part you found is probably your best bet.
