My new internal graphics frame for NOVA.

Post by Steve »

By removing the normal VME cage it is possible to quite nicely fit the entire Nova and graphics card inside the TT. I used some aluminium and strong glue (araldite) if anyone else attempts this please remember to file down all your sharp solder points on the PCB and insulate.

It would be nice to have a SMT nova card with the components on the top only. :coffee:

Nice build @Steve. Still way too much board for my liking though. It would still do my OCD in knowing there is all that cable in there :)

It looks quite neat when installed to be honest...

Very nice, looks much cleaner than the way I did it.
Guess I'll revisit my setup.

Thanks for sharing!

@Steve That's a great job.

I would literally buy this from you. :)

I don't have time to build that but would really love one (to save all my leads/card hanging perilously out the back of the machine).
